Statement of the future should be able to answer the following questions, if required, these problems can be divided into smaller, more detailed questions:
What are the key terms? (Glossary)
We try to resolve the problem? (Problem statement)
Who are stakeholders? Users Who? Their individual needs?
What characteristics of the product?
Functional needs? (Use cases)
What is non-functional requirements?
Design constraints that?
2. To achieve plan
"Quality of products and product plans will be as good." (2)
In RUP, the Software Development Plan (SDP) integrates all the information needed to manage projects, perhaps including some earlier stage of development of the Kai separate content. SDP must be maintained throughout the project and updated.
SDP defines a project schedule (including the project plan and iteration plan) and resources (resources and tools), according to project schedule to track the progress of the project. Also guide the process of the content of other projects: project organization, demand management plan, configuration management plan, problem-solving plans, QA plans, test plans, evaluation plans and product acceptance plan.
Software development project plan format is far from the activity itself and the important thinking of driving these activities. As Dwight D. Eisenhower said: "plan is nothing, planning is everything."
"Achieve a plan" - and list the first article with 3,4,5,8 - RUP captures the main points in the project management process. Project management process includes the following activities: the idea of the project, project size and risk assessment, monitoring and control of projects, programs and evaluation of each iteration and phase.
3. Identify and reduce risks
RUP is one of the points identified in the project early on and deal with the greatest risk. Each project team identifies a risk should have a corresponding mitigation or settlement plan. Risk list should be both as a planning tool project activities, but also the basis for determining the iteration.
4. Allocation and tracking tasks
One thing is important in any project, that is derived from the continuous analysis of ongoing activities and the evolution of objective data products. In RUP, the periodic evaluation of the described project status, communication and resolution of management issues, technical issues and project risk mechanism. Once the team found that these obstacles (fence), they put all these issues are to designate a responsible person, and specify the settlement date. Progress should be regularly tracked and, if necessary, update should be released.
These projects "snapshot" highlights the need to attract management attention. With the change of time / Although the cycle may change, regular assessment of the project so that managers can capture the history, and to remove obstacles to the progress of any limitations or bottlenecks.
5. Check for commercial reasons
Commercial reasons from a business perspective to provide the necessary information to determine whether a project worth the investment. Commercial reasons can also help prospects for the development of a project required to achieve economic plan. It provides the reasons for the project, and the establishment of economic constraints. When the project continues, the analysts use business reasons to properly estimate return on investment (ROI, the return on investment).
Commercial reasons should be given a project to create a short but compelling reasons, and not look into the details, so that all project members to understand and remember it. Key milestone in the Department, the manager should be recalled that for commercial reasons, the actual calculation of the cost, expected return, the decision whether to continue with the project.
6. Design component architecture
In RUP, the software system's architecture is a key component of the organizational system or structure of interaction through the interface between the components, and parts from a number of smaller components and interfaces formed. The major part of that? How they are combined?
